Welcome to my blog! I am a psychotherapist with a small boutique practice in Encino, CA, specializing in the emotional needs of gifted, creative and sensitive adults. A graduate of Antioch University, with an MA in Clinical Psychology, I have worked in the field of psychotherapy for 20 years and counting. My own healing journey has taught me that it’s possible to find positive meaning in pain and trauma; and that the human spirit is strong. It is my mission to use my education, experience, wisdom and empathy to provide cathartic experiences for those who seek it. My license only allows me to practice with clients who are in California, but my hope is that with this blog I can reach and inspire people everywhere.

My training also includes a certificate in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies (LAISPS); and a certificate of study in counseling gifted children, adolescents and adults through SENG. My article on Betrayal has appeared in The Therapist Magazine of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and is quoted in Jewel’s beautiful book, Never Broken:Songs Are Only Half The Story.
